My flow classes are inspired by linking the softness of the breath with the strength and grace of the movement, always encouraging students to find their balance by working within their intelligent edge. It’s important for me to hold a sacred and intentional space for students to deepen and explore their practice so they can come to realize their full potential, divine inner strength and beauty.
My passion and biggest accomplishment has been developing a healing and therapeutic practice for students that aren’t able to flow due to injury, lack of flexibility or simply the aging process. My Therapeutic/Back classes are filled with people wanting to heal from low back discomfort and or sciatica pain. Having lived with these symptoms for a very long time I know first hand how uncomfortable life can be when your back hurts. I’ve studied with some of the best in the field and devoted the past 11+ years to learning and implementing yoga poses and sequences specifically designed for creating space and releasing pain in these areas. Many of my students have felt complete relief of sciatica and back discomfort from a consistent practice with me.
I have also had the great privilege of working with students from the age of 4 to 92, from students brand new to the practice to professional athletes, dancers, and aspiring yoga teachers.
Some of my greatest influences over the years are Donna Farhi, Gary Craftsow, Maty Ezraty, Chick Miller, Judith Lassater, Jeanne Heilman and Elise Miller. I am so grateful for the knowledge and inspiration I have received from these remarkable and gifted individuals.
